The valve also features an antirotation device of the piston positioned inside the valve, which is obtained by a hexagonal sector of the piston itself. With O-rings of the fittings positioned upstream to the thread, there is no risk of fittings being ejected in case of overpressure. The valve also comes with a double feed connection and a version with a knob fitted with locknut for minimum working pressure adjustment.

The valve is designed for continuous use with water at a temperature of 60°C (140°F), and can work for short periods with water at a maximum temperature of 90°C (195°F). The decrease of pressure that needs to occur in the circuit downstream of the valve in bypass mode, in order for the valve to restore the working pressure in the system, is expressed as a percentage of the pressure setting (working pressure).

When the valve is fed through the lower inlet port, the maximum flow rate is 20 l/min. At gun closure, a pressure increase occurs in the circuit downstream of the valve, which is used to activate the valve and discharge all the flow in bypass. The maximum permissible pressure is 4500 psi (310 bar), with a rated pressure of 4050 psi (280 bar). The max flow rate is 10 US gpm (40 L/min), and the inlet/outlet/bypass is ⅜″ NPT F. The max temperature is 195 °F (90 °C).
